Kedrion employees in the US volunteer to help others

Kedrion is committed to a goal of Social Responsibility worldwide. One expression of this commitment has been developed in the US. It is called Kedrion Cares. “The mission of Kedrion Cares is a simple one: to leave each place we visit a little better than when we arrived. It is a part of Kedrion’s corporate culture we hope to make integral in the US and around the world,” commented Neal Fitzpatrick, US Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Kedrion has long supported and collaborated with educational and advocacy organizations. “Kedrion Cares brings social responsibility down to the local communities where we work,” notes Fitzpatrick. “Each place we hold a regional or national meeting, we search for opportunities to engage in meaningful volunteer work. Our agenda at each of these meetings includes a significant block of time for these activities.”

Last year the Eastern Region Team helped out at the Bea Gaddy House in Baltimore, MD, a community-based non-profit organization that assists and provides food for families in need. The Central Region Team spent one of their meeting days in Louisville, KY, helping out at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, a non-profit home improvement store and donation center. And the Western Region team took time out from their meeting in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, to help out at a shelter for abused women and children known as “Brighter Tomorrows”.

“We are happy to contribute to the local communities as part of Kedrion’s global focus on the health and wellbeing of people, but we also get a lot out of the experience ourselves,” concluded Fitzpatrick. “It is always one of the highlights of our meetings and we look forward to even more such activities in 2015.”
