Kedrion Biopharma volunteers at City Rescue Mission in Jacksonville, FL

During the 2017 Sales & Marketing Meeting in Amelia Island, Florida, the Kedrion Biopharma’s US Sales & Marketing Team took some time to give back to the community with a social responsibility initiative at the City Rescue Mission (CRM) in Jacksonville. With a goal of transforming the lives of the homeless and needy, Kedrion people volunteered their time and engaged with about 50 students from this social enterprise’s LifeBuilder program, which is available to anyone facing a life-controlling addiction.

Kedrion also sponsored a steak dinner to residents at two different CRM locations, allowing further personal connections. Other Kedrion volunteers worked side-by-side with CRM thrift store employees to help unload trucks with new inventory, sort donated items and display them for purchase. Before leaving, Kedrion contributed 300 personal care packages for the residents living at the facility.

“This has to be one of our most successful social responsibility events ever,” explained Neal C. Fitzpatrick, VP Commercial Head, North America. “As much as we enjoy carrying out our corporate mission of always leaving each place better than when we arrived, I think we all left CRM knowing that they inspired us more than they could ever imagine.”
