U.S. Healthcare Providers and Organization Payments

Kedrion is committed to transparency and accountability in its interactions with healthcare providers. As part of this commitment, we collect and report data annually on transfers of value, including research funding, meals, travel, gifts, and speaking and consulting fees to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) through the Open Payments program, commonly referred to as the “Sunshine Act”. This federal initiative enhances transparency in healthcare by publicly disclosing financial relationships between manufacturers, group purchasing organizations, and healthcare providers such as, but not limited to:

  • physicians
  • physician assistants
  • nurse practitioners
  • clinical nurse specialists
  • certified registered nurse anesthetists
  • anesthesiologist assistants
  • certified nurse-midwives
  • and teaching hospitals (collectively referred to as “Covered Recipients”).

The CMS Open Payments website provides access to detailed information about Kedrion’s financial engagements with Covered Recipients.
